What is the UL-AR Mark?
The UL-AR Mark was created to simplify your access to the Argentinian
market.
A mandatory compliance law applies to products marketed in Argentina. The law is Resolution 92/98. The scope of Resolution 92/98 covers most electrical and electronic equipment.
UL Argentina obtains accreditation from the Argentinian Accreditation
Organisation (OAA) and recognition from the National Office of
Internal Commerce (DNCI). Under this accreditation and recognition,
UL Argentina is authorised to certify all products that come under
the scope of Argentina's Resolution 92/98. For customers whose
products comply with the resolution, UL Argentina can authorise
application of the 'S' Mark - Argentina's safety mark - as well
as the UL-AR Mark.
After an accredited Certification Organisation verifies a product's compliance, Resolution 92/98 requires the product to bear the recognised compliance mark along with the trademark of the Certification Organization that evaluated the product.

How to start?
Please provide product information in the form of a sales brochure (which includes its rating), a description of its intended application and product family definitions. Additionally, if a CB Scheme test report exists for the subject products, please provide copies of the applicable certificates and test reports.
