What is the PSE Mark?
The PSE Mark is a mandatory mark for Japan
according to the Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law
(DENAN). It is administered by the Ministry of Economy, Trade
and Industry (METI). Products regulated under the DENAN law are
categorised as Specified Products (SPs) and Non-Specified Products
(NPSs). SPs are products that require certificates by a Conformity
Assessment Body, while NSPs are products that require mandatory
compliance but not necessarily via certificates from a METI Conformity
Assessment Body. UL International Demko A/S in Denmark is a Conformity
Assessment Body accredited by Japan's Ministry of Economy, Trade
and Industry (METI). We are authorised by METI to help you get
the mandatory Japanese Specified Product PSE Mark.
